Advanced technologies, once only available in hospitals, allow RNs to use sophisticated high tech medical equipment and procedures in the home to promote healing and provide comfort.

Pain Management VNA pain management care services focus on disease process and symptom management, as opposed to the hospice dying process focus. The process involves the patient, caregivers, physicians, and all involved VNA staff.  Most insurance companies cover these services if they are MD authorized, part-time and intermittent and involve skilled care.  A patient may be eligible after being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
