Medical Social Work

A licensed Social Worker will asses the needs of patients and families and presents them with emotional support strategies and referrals to appropriate community services. We typically refer to community services related to coping skills, mental health issues, safety, financial concerns, housing options, counseling, long-term planning, and more.
