Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists provide general therapeutic exercises for patients with an injury or illness affecting perceptual motor skills or the ability to perform activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, or cooking. As part of the initial assessment we evaluate your individual situation, make recommendations for adaptive equipment and recommendations for the therapeutic exercises and appropriate training.
“Don and I are so grateful to the VNA for seeing us through these past years with our heart attacks, bypass surgery, hip and knee replacements and back operations. Each time, we have received excellent and professional medical care with so much warmth and caring. Our families in Ohio, Georgia and S. Carolina have expressed their confidence in the VNA to give us whatever care you have available for our continuing health care in our home here on the Vineyard. This is so important to all of us. We feel blessed having the VNA in our lives. We thank all of you very much.” - Don and Marion Mohr
